FAQs

How long does it take to create a custom wedding dress?

The time required to create a custom wedding dress varies based on the complexity of the design, but we generally recommend starting the process 6 to 9 months before the wedding. This timeframe allows us ample opportunity to design, conduct necessary fittings, and make any adjustments. If your wedding date is closer, please reach out to discuss options and confirm availability. We also offer an emergency dress service for those in need of a gown in a shorter timeframe, which incurs an additional charge of 20%.

What is the cost of a custom wedding dress?

The cost of a custom wedding dress varies depending on the materials used, the level of customization, and handmade details, such as handmade embroidery. During our first consultation, we'll work with you to understand your vision and budget, and we'll provide a detailed quote based on your specific needs. If you're interested in a dress inspired by haute couture, you can expect the prices to reflect the quality of the materials and the dedication of our team. Prices start from 60,000.00 mexican currency.

Do you offer ready-to-wear designs or just custom dresses?

At Claudia Toffano Bridal we offer two lines of design: Ready to Wear and Tailor-made. The Ready to Wear line includes pre-designed wedding dresses available to buy by size, while the Made to Measure line is completely personalized, where we create a unique dress exclusively for you. Both approaches guarantee the highest quality, but the Tailor-Made line offers you a more personalized experience.

What types of fabrics and materials do you use in dresses?

At Claudia Toffano Bridal, we only work with the highest quality materials, such as natural silks, fine textiles and handmade embroidery. We carefully select each fabric to ensure it meets our standards for elegance, fit and comfort.

Is it possible to incorporate cultural details such as embroidery into my dress?

At Claudia Toffano Bridal, we are proud to incorporate cultural embroidery into our designs. We work with local artisans to create unique handmade embroideries, and we can integrate symbols or elements that represent heritage or personal history. Our goal is for your dress to reflect not only your style, but also your essence and connection with your roots.

What are dress tests like and how many are done?

In the first fitting, we discuss the design, select the fabric, and define the details of the dress. During the second fitting, we take the necessary measurements to ensure a perfect fit. Next, we create the toile, conducting two fittings to adjust the silhouette and details. Finally, we make adjustments to the final dress to ensure every aspect is impeccable.

Can I customize an existing design from the Ready to Wear line?

We offer the option to make specific modifications to our pre-designed Ready to Wear line, such as adding or removing sleeves and other selected details.

What is the payment policy for a custom dress?

For tailor-made dresses, payment is made in several stages. We require a 60% deposit at the time of signing the contract to secure the production of your dress. The remaining 40% is due one month before the final delivery of the dress.

Where do the consultations and dress tests take place?
